How to Beat Ambrus

Ambrus fights in a flooded arena where the water level rises periodically. Standing in water drains your health over time. Elevated platforms provide safe ground but limit your movement. The arena floor floods on a fixed 90-second cycle.

Ambrus launches homing blood projectiles that track your position. Three projectiles per barrage, each dealing moderate damage. Dodge between projectiles rather than away — they converge on your position.

At 30% health, Ambrus enters his true vampire lord form: larger, slower, but with devastating area attacks. His grab attack is instant-kill if you are below 20% health. The transformation is a gear check — under-equipped players will struggle.

Craft the Blood Rune, upgrade your weapons, and bring at least 10 healing potions. This fight tests your resource management. The water mechanics make positioning critical — stay on elevated platforms whenever possible.

• At 30%: switch to heavy weapons for maximum damage during his slow transformation.
• Punish his area attacks — each one has a 3-second recovery window.

Ambrus drops the Court Seal, which is required to access the final Vrakhiri Court members (Bakir and Xanthe). This also unlocks new dialogue options with your companions and advances the main story significantly.
