How Companion Affinity Works
Companions in The Blood of Dawnwalker have an affinity system that unlocks deeper dialogue, personal quests, and romance options. Affinity increases through combat cooperation, dialogue choices, and completing their personal questlines. Each companion has three affinity tiers, with the highest tier unlocking unique combat synergies with Coen.
💡 Three companions are romanceable: Anca, Lacra, and Crake. The game allows you to kill nearly any NPC, including major story characters, which affects available questlines and endings.
